Minutes for 4th Nine-Weeks

Members Present: Janice Luikart (principal), Samantha Coleman (Chair), Courtney Scott (intermediate teacher), Shanda Boggess (primary teacher), Amy Workman (service), Pam Higginbotham (service) Rachele Jeffries (parent), Bailey Legg (parent) 

  1. Old business from previous meeting 

  • iReady Reward for April- Extra recess 

  • Attendance is improving over a span of years, but we still hoping to see it improve.  
     

  1. AR Rewards and Dates  

  • 4th Nine Weeks (Hat Day & Carnival)  

  • May 28th 10:00-11:00  

  1. iReady Rewards 

  • Reminder to modify the iReady goal as needed. Students working on higher level assignments may need their lesson total adjusted based on time.  

  • May Reward: Eleanor Park  

  • June 3rd  

  • We will determine the timeframe as we get closer to make sure weather will cooperate.  

  1. WVGSA Reward for 3rd-5th grade 

  • May 21st 12:30-2:30  

  • Schedule will be determined after Mrs. Luikart has an estimated number for each class.  

  1. School Wide Incentive 

  • Huskey’s  

  • May 28th @ 1:00  

  1. 4th nine weeks attendance assembly  

  • June 2nd @ 10:00 

  1. Suggestions or changes to consider for next year 

  • AR will not be used for grades K-2. 

  • We may not have AR rewards- will determine how 3rd-5th use the program.  

  1. Principal Notes 

  • Blue Plan will be discussed with each grade level during PLC’s next week.
