Minutes for 2nd nine weeks LSIC Meeting Date: February 24, 2026
Time: 7:45am-8:00am
Members Present: Janice Luikart (principal), Samantha Coleman (Chair), Courtney Scott (intermediate teacher), Shanda Boggess (primary teacher), Amy Workman (service), Pam Higginbotham (service) Rachele Jeffries (parent)
1. Old business from previous meeting
· 2nd nine weeks AR reward already happened and went smoothly.
· 3rd nine weeks AR reward date needs to be changed due to Spring Party date.
2. AR Rewards and Dates
· 3rd Nine Weeks (Pajama Day & Glow Party)
o Move to March 26th due to tentatively scheduled Spring Parties on March 27th
· 4th Nine Weeks (Hat Day & Carnival)
o Date will be scheduled once Field Day is scheduled.
3. iReady Rewards
· Reminder to modify the iReady goal as needed. Students working on higher level assignments may need their lesson total adjusted based on time.
· February Reward is the winter Olympics
o Scheduled for March 5th (4th & 5th) March 6th (K-3)
· March Reward- Mobile Gaming Truck
o Scheduled for April 10th (12:30-2:30)
o 20 minute time blocks for each grade level. We will need aides to go out with students.
· April Reward: Extra Recess
o Classes will be doing this on their own whenever works best for your schedule
· May Reward: Eleanor Park
o This date is TBD. We are waiting for a field day date and make up date before scheduling. We will also need to call the Town and verify with them.
4. Attendance
· Continue to do weekly attendance tickets.
· Pop up attendance rewards will happen at random.
